May 15th

Hey guys, so I'm going to email you all today. I talked to some of you
yesterday, and I heard that you would like to hear more about the
actual work and our investigators. Well you picked a great week to
hear about that stuff, we met a guy named Brayden this week.
We found him Monday night, and he was walking away from us, smoking a
cigarette and kind of shady looking. We went and offered him a card
and he invited us into his backyard. He has looked at a lot of anti
and he has also done a lot of research on the church, so we answered
some of his questions (he asked about polygamy and he said he already
knew the answer, he was testing us to see if we would try to lie to
him about it, and we passed!), and he asked for a Book of Mormon. He
texted us later that night and said he already started reading it.
Tuesday morning he texted us and said he felt weirdly drawn into the
Book and when we sent him a scripture about praying he said he felt
like a wave of warm hit him. We were so pumped, and then he came to
gospel study at a members Home that evening. We finished the
restoration and he said he was feeling that feeling, and he accepted
to be baptized on June 10th. It was amazing, but it doesn't stop
there!
Saturday he called us and had some questions because he saw the anti
temple video, but he said he felt bad and stopped watching after a few
minutes, and understandably had a few questions. The anti video said
we had pentagrams and all seeing eyes all over the place, so we were
able to explain a little better lol. After that he attended a baptism
of a member's son, and before that we had a church tour. It's been a
really powerful experience, really amazing to see the power of the
Book of Mormon work.
That's really the highlight for this week. I'll send you some cool
pics too. I got arrested by one of our investigators daughters, and
also I made friends with this lil guy at a zaxbys
